This Privacy Policy explains how Trevlo Tech LLC ("we," "us," or "our") handles data in the Tsunami Watch mobile application ("the App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. The App does not collect or use your data for revenue purposes, such as advertising or selling.
Push Notification Token: We collect a device-specific token to enable push notifications. This acts as a unique identifier for your device but contains no personal information.
Crash and Error Data: To improve the App, we use Firebase Crashlytics, which optionally (can be disabled in the app's settings) collects anonymized crash reports. This includes stack traces, device information (such as model, OS version, orientation, RAM, disk space, CPU architecture, jailbroken/rooted status), app state at the time of crash, timestamps, exception details, screen rotation, and unique identifiers (Crashlytics Installation UUID, Firebase Installation ID, session ID).
Analytics Data: To improve the App, we use Firebase Analytics, which optionally (can be disabled in the app's settings) collects anonymized usage data. This includes app events (e.g., app opens, screen views, user interactions), device information (such as model, OS version, carrier, radio/network type), approximate location (derived from IP address), locale/language, app version, and app foreground/background state.
Personal Information: We do not collect names, emails, phone numbers, or any other personal details.
Location Data: The app may access your device's location, but this data never leaves your device and is not collected or stored by us.
Push Notification Token: We use the push notification token solely to send you notifications related to the App, such as tsunami alerts or updates. Push notifications cannot occur without this information. If the user wishes to disable push notifications, they can do so in the app's settings.
Crash and Error Data: We use crash and error data to improve the stability and performance of the app. This data is not used to identify individual users or to track their activity.
Analytics Data: We use analytics data to better understand how our app is used. This data is not used to identify individual users or to track their activity.
Location Data: We use location data to show your proximity to tsunami threats and events. This data is not used to identify individual users or to track their activity and never leaves your device.
We share analytics data and crash/performance data with Google LLC through Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics for processing and analysis. We do not share any other data with third parties. For more details on how Google handles this data, see their Privacy Policy.
The data we store does not contain any personally identifiable information and is stored securely using industry standard security measures.
You may purchase access to premium push notifications through in-app purchases. These transactions are handled by the app store (e.g., Apple App Store or Google Play), and we do not collect or store your payment information.
You can control notifications, crash reporting, and analytics reporting through your device settings. If you have questions about your data, contact us (see below). We do not offer formal data access or deletion requests beyond what's available in your device settings.
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
This policy complies with applicable laws. The App is available internationally, but we do not target users in regions requiring special regulations like GDPR or CCPA.
We may update this policy occasionally. Changes will be posted in the App with the new effective date.
